William (Temperance) LeTourneau is a spiritual artist, Tarot reader and reiki master/teacher. He currently moderates a number of psychic & energy development groups in his home state of Michigan, with the intent of helping others discover their own intuitive awareness.
"My process changes with each and every work that I do.
Although many of my past-life collages include assemblies of photographic and
borrowed imagery, in doing this imagery for Sherry & Synergy, no available
images could capture or do justice to what i was seeing in my mind. The few
photo reference i had of the two of them did not compare to what I could see in
my mind, so i set out to sketching this rather unique pose and perspective from
my mental image. As i focused on them, their energy became stronger and images
became clearer. This might normally be frustrating, but i only focused on
letting go, and accepting the images that came to me. Day by day the picture
expanded to include other figures, both exotic and spiritual. They made
themselves known to me, and i could only surmise these were entities, energies
and angelic beings working with Sherry & Synergy. I had to trust that even if i
did not understand the significance, that they would be at least familiar with
some of these energies themselves from their own spiritual work. The work is
mixed media, including, colored pencils, water color paint, and graphite
pencil."
"My process usually involves connecting with an individuals energy, and casually
meditating on them during my day, until the images and information that forms in
my minds eye is clear enough for me to reference directly. Ironically, I usually
don't understand the deeper meaning of the symbolism until after the painting or
drawing is complete. Some times the client can later tell me what it was i was
tuning into, and other times it is an encoded message they themselves are
needing to meditate on. The possible meanings and exploration of their own
subconscious or spiritual path is part of what the art can do to help them
unfold their own enlightenment."
