DREAMS THAT RELEASE YOU FROM FEAR
If you believe in the concept of reincarnation, there are other types of dreams to consider. Karmic patterns and habits limit our growth. They can inhibit our way on the spiritual path. These can include fears about contacting Beings of Light, fears instilled by our religious past (this life or in others), among others.

If you have had a heavily religious background and left your church, you may have fears and anxieties about your new path. Current members of your church may even be praying about your "return to the fold". This is a type of psychic attack and is wrong. Whether or not the fears stem from leaving behind your own old habits or from accepting the fears of misguided church members, the fear is the same. You may dream about church, or something related to your fears about the old religion. These dreams may re-occur, but as you open to your higher self, there will be a solution and a greater understanding.

These types of dreams can actually help you reconcile the new with the old. Your old religion was a step in your growth. It brought you to the point where you are now. Integrating those experiences into your life, in an appropriate and balanced manner, is essential to your overall peace of mind and long term spiritual growth.

DREAMS OF UNDERSTANDING
These are dreams that use stories and analogies to help you to understand a lesson. These are the dreams that dream interpreters love to get their hands on! Make use of interpretations as you begin, if you wish, but do not rely on them wholly. Remember, we are learning to use dreams for spiritual purposes. The psychological interpretations will limit you. Develop your own understanding. It is well worth it to take the time to make and keep your own dream dictionary, based on your own dreams and not the generic dreams presented in another’s book. Think about what the symbols mean to you, and write it down. There can be similarities in symbols, partly because of cultural similarities. Still, you will see your dreams in a new and exciting way if you take the time to keep a journal and develop a personal encyclopedia of your dreams.

OUT OF BODY OR "TRAVELING" DREAMS
Yes, you can use a lucid dream as a means of leaving your physical body and travel to other spiritual realms or planes.  Much of the "traveling" that occurs in dreams is mistaken for "just another dream." A lot of dreams occur on the Astral plane, as do many "ordinary" dreams. This is by no means the highest plane one can aspire to, but there are many, many layers to this plane, many quite wonderful and beautiful. Fascinating things can take place as you become more adept at becoming lucid, moving around and remembering your experiences. Have you ever been taken by a Being to a place that looks like a temple? There is a "book" there that you may look into and gain wisdom. There are actually several temples and many books. Many people report the exact same details seen in these "places".

You may also travel to other planes, including the Causal, Mental, Etheric and the so-called "God planes". In order to learn to travel to other planes, you will need a Master with you, who is a specialist in this art, at least in the beginning. Ask for their help and in time, with patience, they will come to you.

PROPHETIC DREAMS
These dreams have a direct bearing on your future. They can be warnings, reassurances, etc. They can be very clear and unambiguous, or be a puzzle. With practice, you can decipher your prophetic dreams. Many people have prophetic dreams about relatives and loved ones.

DREAMS WITH ANGELS, GUIDES AND/OR MASTERS
Let the Dream Master and other Guides take you to the places that you have earned. In these dreams you will see or perhaps perceive your Angels, Guides or Masters and they will assist you in understanding or opening to a greater awareness.

Your dreams are excellent places for this type of communication to take place. You are open and your subconscious is used to letting messages through at this time. It is certain that your Guides and Angels are already in your dreams, but you may not remember them. Remember, there is a part of ourselves that censors things from our conscious mind. If the ideas presented to you in dreams upsets you, then you will get distortions or not remember them at all.

Ask the dream Master to assist you in working out a situation that is bothering you or to help you to deal with a Karmic situation in your dreams.

Think of it this way: if one of the points of our experiences in life is to help us to understand that our actions and the results are connected, then it is the understanding that is so important. If we can use our dreams to gain a thorough understanding of some situation, we may not need to go through it during our waking hours. If we have the knowledge about a situation, does it matter where we got the knowledge? Think about it!

I once had a situation come up that required me to go to court in order to settle it. Instead of giving into the fear, I decided to ask the Lords of Karma to help me to work out my Karma with this individual in the courts. I asked that all of my Karma regarding him be taken care of through the court system. Guess what? I suddenly had to go to court for lots of unrelated things. An unjust parking ticket; an unfair dog off the leash ticket; I was in Court to settle seemingly unrelated things. In addition, I dreamed I was in court every night for weeks. When a big court day came, I was not really nervous. I had already been through it and was accustomed to the environment.

Notice that I had to fight for my rights at some points and not just give up. God needs strong people, not wimps!

DREAMS WITH LOVES ONES THAT HAVE PASSED ON
When a Loved one passes, it is usually possible to visit them on the other side. Messages from those who have gone ahead of us are usually filled with love and to let us know that they are doing okay and not to worry.  70% of people asked say that they have experienced a dream with a loved one, before or after they have passed over, that seemed so real, they were convinced that they had had some kid of actual contact.

After my Mother had been gone for about eight months, my father and I had a dream about her. In his dream he saw her sitting on a park bench. He walked towards her and she looked up and said something very unusual to him. He related this to me a few days later. Little did he know that I had recorded a dream in my journal that included an identical experience with her....even to saying the same words to me! We were both comforted by the experience.

Some dreams with Masters may include that experience of the Light and Sound of God. This is also known as the Sound Current. This includes an experience of a deafening Sound accompanied many times by a feeling of overwhelming love.

DAYDREAMS
These lightly altered States can be used to solve problems and open to new ideas. Creative people make use of their daydreams to merge their imagination with physical reality to produce something beautiful or useful. Many inventors say that their ideas came to them while in a daydream. Learn to allow daydreams to happen, pay attention without disrupting them and then use them for your own benefit!  Continued on Pg. 4...
